Tel-Aqua stands behind every meter with replacement coverage for manufacturing defects and covered faults. This policy explains replacement terms and warranty coverage only.
If something is wrong with your meter under the coverage below, we will replace it. Message us on WhatsApp and we will guide you through the claim.

We build instruments for farmers, and we stand behind them.
7 days — no questions
If anything is wrong with your meter within 7 days of delivery, tell us and we will replace it.
You do not need to explain.
12 months — your meter
If it will not switch on, the display fails, the buttons stop responding, or it will not hold calibration, we replace it free for 12 months from the day you register it.
6 months — your electrode
The electrode is the sensitive glass tip that measures your water.
It is covered for 6 months against manufacturing defects.
Please read this — the most important thing about your meter
The electrode must never be allowed to dry out.
After every use:
- Rinse the tip in clean water.
- Shake off the excess.
- Put the cap back on with a little storage solution or buffer inside.
Never store it dry.
Never store it in plain water — plain water damages the electrode.
Stored correctly, your electrode will work for a year or more.
Stored dry, it can be ruined in a few weeks.
This is true of every pH meter in the world, from the cheapest to the most expensive laboratory instrument.
It is how the technology works, not a fault in the product.
An electrode damaged by dry storage is not covered by warranty — but you do not need a new meter.
Replacement electrodes are available from us at a fair price.
Not Covered
The following are not covered:
- Drops and physical damage
- Water entering beyond the rated depth
- Battery leakage or wrong batteries
- Opening or tampering with the meter
- Electrode damage from dry storage or storage in plain water
- Normal electrode ageing after the covered period
- Loss or theft
How to Claim
Message us on WhatsApp with:
- Your order number
- A photo or short video showing the problem
- A note on how you have been storing the meter
We respond within 24 hours and, where the claim is covered, ship a replacement.
